The Lanterns of Lee Tung

I know,

It use to have historical significance and now it's some sort of apartment condominium/shopping street, all sanitised and void of culture...

But I still like Lee Tung Avenue, and maybe it's for that exact reason.

There's so much "historical significance" and "real HK" in Wan Chai, that it's almost a welcome respite to stroll along a nice clean walking street with pretty lanterns and expensive gelato shops.

Regardless of how divided everyone is on this stretch of road, there's no arguing about how gorgeous the lanterns are, right?
