Obviously the actual gold colour is more a kind of "old gold" and not a bright one as it was displayed on the web site ...
This gold on the blue background has a very weak contrast. It's even hard to read the text on it. The final result is quite terrible.
I am not a first comer at Tiny Island but this time it has really been a disappointment.

Hey Yves!

I think we spoke about this earlier. I do recognise that the image I use for the offset can be misleading, since it's actually from the Silkscreen Print that has brighter gold.

But it still doesn't detract from the fact that this offset print is a technical achievement worthy of mention. We had actually tried to print it some years earlier, but gave up.

Having forgotten that it was near impossible, we tried again, and made it happen.

I hope your print has still found pride of place in your home.
