You recognise this don't you, but can't quite place it.

No need to worry, sometimes even everyday Hong Kong graphics, taken out of context, are oddly confounding.

It's the Fincance News animation on the MTR! The one on those old LED screens! I love this one, and also the other one with the satellite flying around the earth.

Sometimes I feel quite honoured to be immortalizing symbols of our wonderful city. On occasion, such as this one, I do it mostly for myself. It's not famous or anything, like the Star Ferry, but it's such an iconic graphic. Everyone has seen it at least 100 times if you call this place home.

Black on black with gold and silver print is so stark and befitting as well. 

A powerful reminder that it pays, quite literally, to listen to the Finance News.
