Ho Man Tin

Originally located in the heart of present day Mong Kok, Ho Man Tin was famous for its farming in the late 19th century.

Streams from the surrounding hills made for excellent irrigation, and two families, the Ho's and the Man's, owned most of the land, thus giving rise to the name - Ho Man Tin.

Actually situated really close to one of my favourite areas close to Kwong Wah Hospital.

Not a bad place to live, close to the excitement of Mong Kok without having to put up with all the the madness.
